5' Waltham Windsor Bench with Traditional Crest Rail
This bench is an expanded version of my Waltham Side Chair and carries a strong traditional presence. Shown here at 5' long, it can be built in a wide range of lengths to suit different spaces. The finish is milk paint sealed with oil, followed by a rubbed-on varnish and a final coat of paste wax. Though subtle in photographs, the color shown is a deep chocolate brown—the same used on my Painted Pencil Post Bed.
