This is a more modern look than many of my other chairs and settees. I really like the addition of the drawers. The customer suggested this and I think it was very successful. The piece is built of ash and walnut. The walnut was stained very dark to make for a strong contrast. It was built in two sections and joined on site. It barely made it in the elevator for the ride up to the 5th floor New York City Apartment where it now lives.
