Waltham Windsor Arm Chair
I built this chair using a mix of traditional and modern techniques to create a piece that is rich in detail, comfortable, and built to last for generations. The hand-shaped parts are engaging to both the hand and the eye. This chair incorporates my Floating Back design, allowing the back to flex independently of the arm rail for added comfort.
Shown below is an arm that has been gently worn with use. I can introduce some of this wear during finishing if desired—it adds warmth and a sense of history to the piece.
