Side by Side Dresser
I designed this dresser originally for an elegant home in the Adirondacks and later built it again for a client in Washington, DC. The piece features extensive traditional joinery, including hand-cut dovetails in the drawers and face frames.
The top features a hand-planed round-over that is especially pleasant to the touch, and the leg profile echoes this same curve. This design is also available as a single bank of drawers—essentially half of the version shown here—and can be adapted to other custom sizes.
