Bed Slat Assembly

Below are some pictures of the slat system that I use to support a mattress without a box spring. This is for a king size bed. Generally , I do not use a center slat or foot for a queen size or full size bed.

To assemble the slats- note that all parts are labelled. Labels should be up and visible when assembled.

1- bolt the center foot to head slat in place under the cherry cleat on the end rails. picture 1
(nut and washer will be underneath the slat)

2- adjust the adjustable foot on the center support to just hold the center slat level. picture 2

3- lay the slats across the center slat and fit the "v" to a peg on either side rail. picture 3
(numbers are visible when read from the foot of the bed)
