This low post bed has all of the elegance of a full-size pencil post bed but with a 48" post. I build all of my beds to suit your mattress selection. Exposed bed bolts add a nice hearty detail and make for a sturdy bed frame that will last for many generations.

While most of my beds are made to support a mattress alone, sometimes a customer wants a box spring. The bed below has a structure that is designed to support the box spring. All of my beds are custom-designed to work with your mattress system of choice.

Material: The above beds are all cherry or cherry and ash. If a color change is desired, maple is also a good choice for a lighter wood. (Ash may be very scarce in the future due to the Emerald Ash Borer beetle.) Finish: Osmo Satin Hard Wax Oil
