Backless Waltham Windsor Bench
This backless bench is based on my Waltham series of benches and chairs. The subtle hand shaping of the seat, combined with the absence of a back, allows it to be used comfortably from either side. This makes it especially well suited to gallery settings or dining tables, where ease of movement—particularly for children—is important.
As a hall bench, it offers a more minimal and flexible option. Custom lengths are available. The bench is typically finished in milk paint and varnish, but for a more contemporary look it can also be built with a natural finish using a cherry seat and ash or maple legs.
